Cancellation Policy

Welcome! Please review the following policy before scheduling your session. Booking a session confirms that you agree to these terms. 1. Booking & Retainer To reserve your date, a non-refundable retainer of 50% is required at the time of booking. Your session is not confirmed until this payment is received, and a contract is signed. The remaining balance is due on or before your session or event. 2. Payment We accept the following payment methods: Zelle to 817-821-9972, Venmo Jessica-murphy-130 or cash. Full payment must be made by the due date to avoid cancellation. 3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Cancellations must be made via email or text. Retainers are non-refundable but may be transferred once to a new date if rescheduling is requested at least 2 days in advance. Additional rescheduling may be subject to a rescheduling fee. 4. Weather & Emergencies If you're booking an outdoor session, weather may require rescheduling. We’ll make that decision together, ideally 24 hours in advance. In the case of illness, emergencies, or unsafe conditions, sessions will be rescheduled at no extra charge. 5. Session Time & Tardiness Please arrive on time. Your session begins at the scheduled time—even if you’re late. Arrivals more than [X minutes] late without prior notice may result in a shorter session or cancellation without refund. 6. Image Delivery Your final, edited images will be delivered within [2–4 weeks] through a secure online gallery. Rush editing is available for an additional fee. 7. Copyright & Image Use All images are protected under copyright law. The photographer retains full copyright and may use images for portfolio, social media, and marketing purposes, unless you request otherwise in writing. Clients receive personal-use rights only. Commercial use requires separate licensing. 8. Client Expectations We strive to create a comfortable and creative experience for everyone. Clients are expected to behave respectfully during sessions. Disruptive or unsafe behavior may lead to immediate cancellation with no refund.
